When something is going wrong in our life it is all we can think about.

When we have successes we need to take time to celebrate!

A very simplistic example is the weather…

We have enjoyed a beautiful, warm, sun-filled month of May. Now, if June is rainy, will we forget about all those warm days?

The rain is also blessing.

Planting seeds inevitably changes my feelings about rain.

A character in the Hebrew Bible (Old Testament) knew about trials and triumphs.

 Joshua was called to be the successor to Moses. Those big shoes to fill. Joshua must have felt overwhelmed by the task; but he wasn’t alone. God gave Joshua a game-changing promise!

“As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you. Be strong and courageous.”

Joshua 1:5, 6

Daily life requires courage and strength. At Tabor Home we regularly spend time in prayer and reflection on God’s ability to give us strength for the journey.
